GOD IN THE DARK

Winter Solstice Retreat

THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you who made it "live" for the God in the Dark retreat to mark the Winter Solstice. There were over 60 of us together from at least four countries (that I noticed) - such a joy!

It was such a gift to me to be with you all and explore and lean into the mystery and treasures of the darkness. Thank you for being there. Thank you for engaging. Thank you for your curiosity and courage as we explored this topic together.

T. S. Eliot, Four Quartets

I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love,
For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith
But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.
Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:
So the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.
