FOR SPIRITUAL DIRECTORS
While this ministry of spiritual accompaniment is deeply fulfilling and meaningful, it can also be a lonely and sometimes confusing space to work within!
With many hundreds of hours of spiritual direction under my belt, as well as many years teaching and tutoring experience, I am pleased to be able to share what I have learnt (and continue to learn!) with you - my fellow spiritual directors.
I offer individual and group supervision, and individual coaching. I also love to teach workshops and lead retreat days for spiritual direction groups and networks.

MY OFFERINGS

SUPERVISION
Supervision is an essential and transformative practice for spiritual directors. I offer individual supervision, and facilitation of peer supervision groups, with the focus on a contemplative, compassionate and supportive approach.
You can find more information about Supervision on a separate webpage...

COACHING
Whether you are just beginning as a spiritual companion, or are years into your practice but need some new perspective, I come alongside you in a unique coaching offer that blends the practical and the spiritual.
Together, we decide the focus of our time, and can cover everything from vision and strategy, to the nuts and bolts of administration and communication. In all of it, I hold space for the unique coming-together of coaching and spiritual direction; our sessions are deeply practical while trusting that the Spirit continues to be present and moving in this more goal-oriented space.
You are welcome to book me for a one-off coaching session, or for a short series of 3-5 sessions. After each session, I send you my session notes with agreed and suggested actions and things to reflect on.

WORKSHOPS AND RETREATS
I love to teach, and sharing the experience I have gained through my work in this space is a deep honour and delight!
I have taught for the London Centre for Spiritual Direction, both ongoing as a Lead Tutor on their Encounter Spiritual Direction formation course, and in one-off and short courses as part of their "Developing Direction" programme.
I have also been invited to lead day workshops for local diocesan spiritual direction networks and am always pleased to connect in this way.
I would be happy to teach on many topics within spiritual direction, but am particularly excited about speaking on:
Spiritual direction and faith shifts/deconstruction;
Exploring images of God in spiritual direction;
Developing a vision and plan for our individual and communal ministries;
Working with a directee's structural and societal circles of experience in spiritual direction (including how justice issues are worked with);
Ecospirituality in spiritual direction.
If you would like to invite me to teach, or want to explore an idea with me, please send me an email with the details and we can set up a time to talk more!
